| EDUCATION: | B.S. degree in Business Administration Major - Building Industry & Real Estate University of Denver - 1970 Completed real estate appraisal courses under direction of the (American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers) Appraisal Institute. Course I-A, Basic Principles; Course I-B, Capitalization Theory and Techniques; Course II, Urban Properties; Course 6, Investment Analysis. Also completed Course A, Commercial Investment; Fundamentals of Real Estate, Investments, and Taxes, under direction of the National Institute of Real Estate Brokers. Attended Courses I, II, and III of the Illinois Realtors Institute, along with other real estate seminars and education courses sponsored by the National Association of Realtors. Earned the G.R.I. designation as graduate of the Realtor’s Institute. Have also attended various real estate appraisal seminars throughout the current business periods, and I am currently certified through 2001 under the Appraisal Institute's voluntary continuing education program. - Opened and managed Monge Realty & Investments, Inc. branch, real estate
and construction office in Canton, Illinois. Real estate broker and appraiser
in Canton, Ill. 1975 - Began with Utah Mortgage Loan Corporation in August 1975 in the Income Loan Division, Salt Lake City, Utah. In charge of liquidation and problem solving of the foreclosed and problem loans. 1976-77 - Up to June 1976, worked for Utah Mortgage Loan Corporation, liquidating foreclosed and REO properties. As of June 1976, I began my own real estate and appraisal service and mortgage brokerage office in Park City, Utah, under the names Monge Appraisal Service and First Western Mortgage Corporation. I operated both business from June 1976 to June 1977. 1977-1988 - In June 1977, I moved my appraisal service and mortgage brokerage company to Sun Valley, Idaho, where I opened a new appraisal office/Monge Appraisal and a new mortgage brokerage office/First Western Mortgage Corporation, where I have maintained my principal place of business in Sun Valley, Idaho, since that time. From 1977 through 1988, First Western Mortgage Corporation originated approximately $70 million in new loans throughout the Blaine County area. Also during that time, Monge Appraisal began operations and has appraised all types of real estate throughout the entire Blaine County area, and in 1978, I obtained the RM - Residential Member - designation from the AIREA, Certificate No. 1146. In 1985, I obtained the MAI designation from the AIREA, Certificate No. 7173. During this time, I operated as both a mortgage broker and operated a real estate appraisal service. 1988- June 30, 1996 - In March 1988, the office of First Western Mortgage Corporation was basically closed down for purposes of generating new loans. At that time, a decision was made to devote 100% of my time and energy to the operations of Monge Appraisal, which includes real estate appraising, real estate consulting, financial consulting, REO management and sales consulting, and real estate brokerage. In the beginning of 1987 to the present time, Monge Appraisal has devoted a large amount of energy towards an electronic real estate sales data base. Our office has the most complete real estate sales data information throughout the entire Blaine County area. Monge Appraisal is currently a full service real estate consulting and appraisal company with myself being the sole owner. As previously noted, I am currently certified under the Appraisal Institute's Voluntary Continuing Education Program. In my appraisal business, I have completed and signed appraisal reports for all types of properties. I have performed appraisals in Tazewell, Peoria and Fulton Counties in the state of Illinois; in Summit, Davis, Salt Lake and Weber Counties in the state of Utah; and in Twin Falls, Blaine, Custer, Jerome, and Lemhi Counties in the state of Idaho. My primary area of work is basically within the Blaine County/Sun Valley area in the state of Idaho. I have had a wide variety of appraisal assignments and experience, including but not limited to single family residential homes, condominium units, multiple family residential properties, farm and ranch properties, large recreational parcels, scenic and conservation easement properties, and residential and commercial developments, including all types of both commercial and industrial properties. Since 1977, my primary area of activity has been within the Blaine County area, which is, in fact, a premiere year-round resort area located in the central mountain area of the state of Idaho. July 1, 1996 - On July 1st, 1996, I effectively sold my Real Estate Appraisal business Monge Appraisal and Investments - Residential files, Business operations, and all equipment to Patricia A. Lentz, who will operate a full time Real Estate Appraisal business under the Monge name for the next year or so. I, Thomas R.
